HAPPY FESTIVITIES!

A traditional style maa-kolam for this big festival. Inspired from our Bangalore temple venture. It never is easy to make this wet paate kolam on this Italian marble. It slips and sort of floats like oil on water! Which has why I do more powder kolams. But I love this wet kolam, and wait for a festival to be able to draw. In our Iyer culture, we draw these only during festivals.
